The latest figures published by the government this month show that 58% of UK homes have sufficient loft insulation, and 58% of properties with cavity walls have had the cavities insulated. In the last 3 months 300,000 insulation measures have been installed. This is good progress, but still falls some way short of meeting targets set by the Coalition last summer, which aimed to see improved insulation installed in 3.5 million homes by Dec 2012.
